ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS
“I can’t do this anymore.” “I can’t call (insert friend’s name) because they have enough on their plate.” “I feel so alone.” “This black cloud just keeps getting bigger.” “Why am I so upset?
Things are going so well in my life!”
Life’s challenges are often made heavier by past experiences. Sometimes, you just need someone to help sort it out. Whether you are struggling with trauma, grief, loss, relationship changes, or the grip of depression, therapy can help. The first step is finding the right therapist for you.
I am a social worker with almost 20 years of experience across crisis settings, the legal system, and schools. I work with clients ages 10–65, with a particular passion for children and adolescents. My trauma-informed approach and experience with behavioral complexities allow me to support clients across a wide range of diagnoses.
I provide individual therapy only and collaborate with other providers as needed to ensure continuity of care. My style is direct, supportive, and reflective, and works well for those ready for honest feedback and personal growth.
Elli, my Jack Russell–Corgi mix, is often present during in-person sessions. Her presence helps reduce anxiety and increase ease and engagement, especially for younger clients. If you prefer she not be present, that can always be arranged.
I am accepting new clients for in-person and telehealth sessions. I accept Aetna, BCBS, HNE, United/Optum, and HPHC. I also offer self-pay options and provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement.
I am taking new clients both in-person and online. Call 413-307-0492 or email JGTherapeuticPractice@gmail.com to make an appointment.
I am NOT able to accept MassHealth plans at this time.
