Accepting New Clients

Welcome. I’m Deborah Calvanese, a licensed mental health counselor in private practice, dedicated to helping adults navigate life’s challenges with clarity, compassion, and resilience. I am currently accepting new client’s for daytime and limited evening appointments.

I work with individuals aged 18 and older, offering a safe and supportive space to explore personal struggles, build emotional strength, and move toward healing. My practice is grounded in a deep respect for each client’s unique journey.

I have specialized training in trauma and peri- and postpartum mental health, and I’m passionate about supporting individuals through trauma recovery, life transitions, and the emotional complexities surrounding pregnancy and the postpartum period.

A core part of my work involves educating clients about their symptoms, helping them understand what they’re experiencing, and equipping them with practical, healthy coping skills. I believe that knowledge is empowering—and that with the right tools and support, lasting change is possible.

To meet the needs of my clients, I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions, providing flexibility and accessibility while maintaining a high standard of care.

Whether you're facing anxiety, grief, depression, or simply feeling overwhelmed, my goal is to help you reconnect with your inner strength and find meaningful ways forward.
